@Helen-nv8el 3 days ago Thank you both for what you do. I'm an 83 year old female, and thanks to the influence of people like you my Keto/ low carb way of eating kerps me slim and active. Hbaic 5.2 and I refuse the statins my Dr tries hard to insist on for my "high " cholesterol. A beautiful day today! 62!! What a fantastic interview. Always love what Dr Berry has to say. He’s a trove of information. All Doctors should be like Dr B! 25 Reply @DouglasBlinn 4 days ago Started keto in June because of heart failure also had a A1C of 8.7 with exercise IF fasting with some prolonged fasting just got my A1C back Thursday 4.8 so it definitely works and everyone should at least give it a try and see. 39 Reply Defeat Diabetes AU · @gloriaestelasuarez 3 days ago As always, Dr. Berry does not disappoint. Thanks for sharing this around... 2 Reply @critter4004 3 days ago Thank you Dr Berry πŸ™ 😘 I started following you almost 7 years ago while on 1500 mg Metformin twice daily and my Dr wanted to start me on insulin. I resisted so she said, ok let's try Glipizide. Well, I picked up the script, read the warnings and said there's got to be a better way! Started keto, immediately felt better. Within 3 months I was off Metformin, down 45 pounds and headed towards health, no exercise needed. I kept at it and now, at age 68, I am doing great! I've had to adjust from time to time, cut out the almond flour treats, etc., closer to Carnivore. ❤πŸŽ‰❤ 14 Reply @darcy2965 2 days ago This is why we love Dr Berry And we're grateful 5 Reply @FireOElijahMC 3 days ago I question everything, especially advice from government health organizations after reading 'Health and Beauty Mastery' by Julian Bannett, this book exposes so many shocking truths about the health industry. I completely changed my habits. 115 Reply @jessiedschuh 1 day ago 39 yo female. Have had pcos since a teen, and untreated T2D for YEARS. After hearing Dr. Berry, I decided to go carnivore in March of 2024 after seeing my bloodwork results. My A1C was 12.4%!!! BP was high and triglycerides through the roof. 9 months later, I am happy to say my A1C is 5.5% and have no other issues! A1C went to 6.2 in 90 days, then 5.6 in 6 months, now 5.5 currently Dec of 2024. I am so thankful for Dr. B and his amazing fellow colleagues that also preach this way of eating. πŸ™ŒπŸ» 2 Reply @peterbedford2610 3 days ago My A1C is at 5.8. BMI is 21 and I get all kinds of excerize every day. Started keto a week ago. Some people on Carnivore diet the end up over eating. I learned that when I feel satiated, I stop eating. I often add extra fat on my meat, and that helps me stay satiated until the next day. I eat between 10am and 4pm. The rest is water with electrolytes. 2 Reply @goranradenkovic7860 3 days ago Very good video with esential informations. Thank you! I can remember how addicted I was and I won't go near it now because if I just have only a tiny amount of sugar it will probably make me want to eat more and more. 8 Reply Defeat Diabetes AU · @arleneblackwood835 3 days ago Loved hearing this! Thank you so very much Dr Brukner!!πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ’•⭐️πŸ’«✨πŸ¦ƒπŸ₯©πŸ—πŸŽ…πŸŽ„ 5 Reply Defeat Diabetes AU · @olekirkelund7755 4 days ago The statins debate always pops up and I totally agree that statin treatment for primary prevention is completely unfounded, but even for secondary prevention the use of statins is questionable. The positive/preventive effect is better surely, but only slightly better and for people with high HDL and low triglycerides the preventive effect of statins may likely vanish completely even for secondary prevention. In both cases you must take the potential side effect into consideration. Just a caution when prescribing statins for secondary prevention also. 7 Reply Defeat Diabetes AU · @jeannedigennaro6484 4 days ago Great presentation by you both. 5 Reply Defeat Diabetes AU · @joecruggle7638 3 days ago Great interview !! 3 Reply @TheMallyjoe 3 days ago Thank god DrBerry did figure it out. 2 Reply @goranradenkovic7860 2 days ago It's very simple - if you're alergic on lactose - you don't eat milk and cheese...Etc...- If you are "intolerant" on sugar -- don't eat carbs!!!! Very easy πŸ˜‰ As I said - my A1c Is stable durung 20 months -5,1...I eat lot of eggs,sardines,nuts,vegetables(hopely-feemented...)-when you're stabilized - you can eat fruuts and sweets, but in moderation - but never on empty stomek. And - eat once or twice a day!! Greetings from Serbia! ❤ 1 Reply @robyn3349 3 days ago Thank you! 4 Reply @magsrankin6166 3 days ago Thanks, Peter, great interview. Why wasn't my insulin higher to try to lower my glucose? My Ha1c is 5.7. 1 Reply @stevensevek6151 3 days ago (edited) This is really good especially for referring someone to keto/carnivore. I just learned 2 days ago from my younger brother that he has type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. So I sent him a link to this video. And sorry but I don't believe that humans have been on this planet for a million years. Hominids or humanoids, yes but they weren't humans. However our physiology may be very very similar to theirs. I'll give you that. 2 Reply @joevans5713 3 days ago (edited) Such a great video for those wanting to take charge of their own health and not sure how to go about it - so much valuable information, thanks. There’s an edit glitch from 44:40 to 46:30… A question is asked about the ‘dawn phenomenon’ before 44:40 but the next two minutes are the closing of the podcast, then at 46:30 the ‘dawn phenomenon’ question is answered πŸ™ƒ Video then cuts off abruptly at the end. Can you fix please? πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ 4 Reply Defeat Diabetes AU · @smacker360 3 days ago My biggest issue is still cramps. Once I add about 100 grams of carbs my cramps go away. I eat a sweet potatoe and a slice of homemade sour dough bread with European flour and no sugar. Been doing this now for a couple weeks and feel better overall. 2 Reply
