Eliminating carbs (especially whole grains) and dramatically increasing my salt intake, LOWERED my blood pressure. Unsurprisingly, this was the complete opposite of my doctor's advice...

This is literally me…I was obliviously addicted to sugar. Id have a coffee (with sugar & cream) along with pan de dulce or a cookie as a “light breakfast “ I literally gained 10 lbs by doing this, this has definitely opened my eyes. Thank you for your content!

My doctors told me for high triglycerides and my skin condition to “stop eating chicken” and later “take steroids”. Never anything about cutting out carbs and sugars.

I can personally attest to the effect that sugar has on my depression and anxiety. After eating only meat and eggs for the last 4 months I've never had so much relief of my symptoms. Even deviating a little for a treat seems to cause me to spiral into major depressive episode.

It's amazing how all this knowledge is known BUT that BIG FOOD can influence law and public policy that supports an unhealthy diet. Thank you Dr. Berry for your tireless work in exposing the dangers of a high carb diet.

I use to be so addicted sugar, I use to just sit there and eat 6 pks. of "Now and Later" candy on a regular basis... Snickers, cookies πͺ it's like I just couldn't get enough of the stuff. Been doing keto for over a year now though.

Soy and corn are my migraine triggers, along with cigarette smoke, Febreeze, and my mother-in-law's perfume.

I told my mother when I was 7 years old, that I felt like I was addicted to sugar. I think this is our "hereditary" high cholesterol - we learned to eat a lot of sugar......

What about Aspartame? Why do companies say 0 sugar if they're still using different types of sugar? That's BS

My body, weight, and satiety are so very healthy now that I cut back to 20 or fewer grams of carbohydrates per day, gluten-free, and seed-oil-free eating.

I stopped eating sugar last year December then went on a keto lifestyle. Lost over 80lbs. I’m doing a 7 day water fast right now watching your video. My body is fat adapted and ready for any intermittent or prolonged fast.

Why don’t other MDs preach this information. That’s because they’re getting paid to prescribe pills. Do your own research and be your best advocate

I cut my carbs and sugars a few months ago. I have started to walk every day and some weight lifting every other day. I start my mornings with some AC in water and wait until about 2PM to eat my meal, I eat one or sometimes two meals a day. this routine has worked great for me! I have lost over 30 lbs and BP has lowered so I could under doctors agreement cut my Meds. I still like sugar but I have way less than I used to. I also like my Jack Daniels and other Alcoholic brews but also cut them from every day to just a little on Weekends. I am 67 and I am sure I will live much longer since I started this lifestyle.

This advice is life changing. It's hard to put the brakes on sugar intake, especially when you are working so hard and it seems to be the only thing getting you through your day. It's well worth it. I dropped 30 kg in less than a year, still enjoy the odd treat and now truly appreciate how things taste more than ever.

Joining the Carni/Ketovoire Tribe coming in with all the issues. Admitted last night I am a sugar addict. Everything I have learned last week is so liberating. Stopped sodas a few weeks ago. Coffee a couple weeks ago and have dropped carbs to 25% if not less than historical intake. Went to a restaurant today, drank water and had a meat omelette. One day at a time, today was a win!

I had my first real cheat meal since January yesterday (pre-planned), a delicious polenta breakfast entree. I felt crazy bloated, like the food was filling me all the way up to my shoulders! Maybe I won't have a whole cheat meal in the future.
